91香蕉视频 University鈥檚 Strategic Roadmap includes a university-level initiative, the 91香蕉视频 of Wellness, to create and support a culture of health and wellbeing across the 91香蕉视频 system. The 91香蕉视频 of Wellness team has identified eight health priorities for the 91香蕉视频 community of students, faculty and staff at all campuses.  An open forum will be held at each Regional Campus and location to share the development of the 91香蕉视频 of Wellness and provide an opportunity for discussion. Join us to hear about the initiative and share YOUR ideas on wellness for an undeniably healthy 91香蕉视频!  The forums are open to all faculty, staff and students.

The eight health priorities are:

  • Alcohol and Other Drug Use
  • Mental Health
  • Nutrition
  • Physical Activity
  • Preventive Care
  • Safety
  • Sexual Health
  • Smoking and Tobacco Use

Songfest, the annual philanthropic event hosted by the Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils at 91香蕉视频 University, will benefit the King Kennedy Community Center in Ravenna.

91香蕉视频 University鈥檚 College of Public Health has received accreditation from the Board of Councilors of the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The five-year span is the maximum term the college could have achieved as a first-time applicant.

To earn the accreditation, the college met a set of rigorous quality standards in the areas of teaching, research and service. Accreditation also affirms that the faculty of the college are highly qualified to equip students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in a health career.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 91香蕉视频 University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 91香蕉视频 remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
