91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ University will hold its 54th annual commemoration honoring the memory of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine others and sparking a turning point in American history.

Peace Upon the Earth, Episode 3 of Legacy: May 4 Podcast
The School of Peace and Conflict Studies originated at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ as a response to May 4. Today it’s central in 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€™s global presence. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting “Developing and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµâ€ as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.
