As the first light snow of the season fell on 91�㽶��Ƶ University, the Student Center Ballroom radiated warmth and camaraderie during the International Cook-Off Competition. The event, part of International Education Week, brought together hundreds of students, faculty and staff to celebrate global flavors and cultural diversity.

Multiple buildings on 91�㽶��Ƶ University’s Kent Campus were affected Tuesday morning by a strong odor of natural gas, leading some employees and students to vacate their buildings.

The Summit Professor of Learning Technologies and Professor of Educational Technology, Richard Ferdig, Ph.D., has had a multitude of students come through his courses. Each student has different preconceived notions, different goals and different reasons for joining his class.

International Education Week, taking place Nov. 18-22, celebrates the different cultures across the 91�㽶��Ƶ University community and highlights international experiences and opportunities the university offers.

91�㽶��Ƶ University graduate Quintin Cooks has been named the grand prize winner of the GO TEACH Dr Pepper Giveaway. 

From the runway to the highway, a fashion show in the Cleveland Flats spotlighted the 91�㽶��Ƶ University School of Fashion and Porsche's new electric vehicle.

The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals. 

As the rapid advancement of technology and global interconnectivity continues, cyber threats simultaneously evolve and become increasingly prevalent. It is evident that there is an ever-growing need for professionals equipped with the skills to recognize and address the technical, criminal and social aspects of cybercrime.  

University Libraries’ Performing Arts Library at 91�㽶��Ƶ University hosted its Open Mic Lunch on Nov. 1, where students and university community members came together to showcase their talents and connect through live music. 

91�㽶��Ƶ University honored all who have served with Veterans Day Commemoration ceremonies Friday on the Kent Campus’ Student Green.

KSU Navigate, a new technology platform more than two years in the making, will fully launch on Nov. 18, giving 91�㽶��Ƶ University students an easy and efficient way to schedule tutoring and academic advising putting them on track for success in their coursework.
